Exterior-only detailing from Wasatch Auto Detail runs from a straightforward hand wash to full two-step paint correction. Classic Exterior at $175, Wax & Buff at $275, and Cut & Polish at $375, each built around what Salt Lake Valley paint actually faces every year.
Winter road salt and brine etch clear coat if they sit on it, and summer UV accelerates oxidation on anything that goes too long without wax. These packages exist specifically to undo both before they become permanent.

How is pricing for larger vehicles handled?
Prices above are for a standard sedan. Small SUV or crossover adds $25, a mid-size SUV adds $50, a large SUV or truck adds $75, and an XL, oversize or specialty vehicle adds $100. We confirm the exact total when we see the vehicle or hear its year, make and model.
What's the difference between a one-step and two-step polish?
A one-step polish restores gloss and removes light swirl marks in a single pass. A two-step correction uses a cutting compound first to remove deeper oxidation and scratches, then a finishing polish, which is why Cut & Polish takes longer and costs more.
Should I get wax or ceramic coating?
Wax is the right call for routine upkeep every few months. If you want protection that holds up for years without reapplying, see our Ceramic Coating packages instead.
